Lawyer chambers demolished in F-8
CDA says they demolished chambers which were built illegally in the car park
ISLAMABAD:
Chambers built by some lawyers in the car park of the Sector F-8 kucheri were demolished by the district administration on Monday.
Lawyers belonging to Islamabad Bar Association (IBA) declared the move as wrong and announced that they will rebuild all such structures.
Meanwhile, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) said they demolished chambers which were built illegally in the car park.
Earlier, as heavy machinery of the CDA tore the chambers, the lawyers chanted slogans against the authority, claiming that they had no place to work.
They contended that the chambers were as legal as the court’s record rooms which had been built in violation of the CDA by-laws.
