Polio eradication strategy stressed
Coordination and resources go into every round of anti-polio campaign
PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Secretary Dr Kazim Niaz on Monday said that the eradication of polio from the province remains the top priority of the incumbent government.
He directed district administrators to show zero-tolerance for any laxity in achieving the goals of the upcoming polio eradication initiative. Dr Niaz ordered this while presiding over a meeting of the Provincial Task Force on polio.
He said that substantive efforts, coordination and resources go into every round of anti-polio campaign.
