1,200 teachers to be appointed on merit

Rind distributed cheques amounting to Rs2 million among 63 students who secured flying colors

Balochistan Education Minister Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind has announced to hire 1,200 teachers.

While addressing an event for students who secured top positions in the annual matriculation examinations, he said the appointment of 1,200 teachers will solve the recruitment problem of schools in the province.

“We had been facing an acute shortage of teachers in government schools since a long time.” Rind added that all appointments will be furnished on merit and only educated and qualified candidates will be appointed on the vacant positions.

“The provincial government is committed to appoint qualified teachers on merit.”

Rind distributed cheques amounting to Rs2 million among 63 students who secured flying colors. He also awarded the students shields and certificates apart from appreciating the scholarship programme.
