PDWP okays two development schemes
The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Friday approved two development schemes of Local Government (LG) and Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) with an estimated cost of Rs3.61 billion.
According to a spokesperson, these schemes were approved in the 14th meeting of the PDWP of current fiscal year 2020-21 presided over by Planning & Development (P&D) Board Chairperson Hamed Yaqoob Sheikh. All members of the P&D Board, provincial secretaries of departments concerned, Senior Chief Coordination Javed Latif, Assistant Chief Coordination Shahid Idrees and other senior representatives of the departments concerned also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included construction of covered parking sheds at Sahiwal and Sialkot City (PICIIP) at the cost of Rs227.598 million and Punjab Enhanced HIV/ AIDS Control programme, in three years, (Phase-II) at the cost of Rs3.38 billion.
