ISLAMABAD:

The apex civic authority of the federal capital plans to start work on developing infrastructure on the long-neglected Sector I-15 of the federal capital.

In this regard, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday said that it has invited bids for development works in Sector I-15 and its sub-sectors.

The authority said that they are busy in basic earthwork and survey of streets and roads in the sector even though tenders have been floated, particularly for the development of Sector I-15/4.

Developed for in low-income segments of society, CDA had allotted plots in the sector without proper development. To rectify it, the CDA said tenders for Sector I-15 have been issued and bids will be opened on December 17. Developmental work will subsequently commence in January. Moreover, the authority said bids for sub-sector I-15/4 have also been opened and developmental works will commence in two weeks.
