11 people killed in Kohlu cylinder blast

Government of Balochistan released a compensation amount of Rs400,000 for the victims

The death toll of the cylinder blast in Balochistan’s Kohlu district rose to 11 as three more children succumbed to their injuries.

It is pertinent to mention that the Government of Balochistan took timely action after the unfortunate incident and released a compensation amount of Rs400,000 for the victims of the blast and Rs50,000 for the injured persons.

The money was released by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority to Deputy Commissioner Kohlu on the instructions of the Balochistan government.

At least 30 people, mostly children, were injured in a gas cylinder blast during a marriage ceremony in Kohlu a few days ago. The incident occurred in the Bohri area.
