CDA builds cycling track in Sector E-7
With rising demand from residents, the apex civic authority of the federal capital has built a cycling track on the Gomal Road in Sector E-7.
This was stated by an official of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The official said that the authority is working on carpeting roads in various parts of the capital through its road maintenance and Machine Pool Organisation (MPO) department.
Working in two shifts, the official said that teams are carpeting and repairing sections of Jinnah Avenue, Seventh Avenue, Ninth Avenue, Lehtrar Road, Expressway, Fazal-e-Haq Road, Minister’s Enclave, Srinagar Highway, IJP Road, roads and streets in Sectors F-6, F-7, F-8, G-6, G-7, G-8, G-9, G-10, I-8, I-9, I-10, D-12, and others.
For this purpose, the MPO department is also preparing tonnes of construction material daily at its asphalt plant which had been non-functional for the past two years.
Through the cooperation of the MPO, cycle tracks have been build on the Gomal Road in Sector E-7.
To ensure the smooth execution of these projects, the CDA officials said that the administration has provided funds for these developmental works.
