Two car lifters arrested, vehicles recovered
The Golra police have arrested two suspected car lifters and recovered stolen vehicles from their possession, a police spokesperson said on Tuesday.
The Saddar Zone superintendent of police constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP Sajjad Bukhari and Golra police station SHO Shamsul Akbar, ASI Noor and others.
The team apprehended two suspected car lifters, identified as Saleem and Atif Mehmood, while stolen vehicles were recovered from their possession.
A case was registered against them while further investigations are underway.
DIG Syed commended the team’s performance and directed all police officials to intensify their efforts towards eliminating car lifting incidents.
