Actor Ameer Gilani recovers from Covid-19
Television actor Ameer Gilani, who had recently tested positive for Covid-19, has just announced the news of his recovery.
Taking to Instagram on late Sunday, Gilani shared a picture of himself smiling at the camera. In the caption he wrote, "This bed has been my only friend for the past 15 days. Isolation has been scary and annoying."
He then added, "Aap sab ki duaon se I have recovered Alhamdulillah (But by the grace of God and all your prayers, I have recovered) and tested negative."
Gilani's announcement comes only a week after his Sabaat co-star Usman Mukhtar recovered from the coronavirus.
Both the actors had been infected one after another late in October. Gilani had shared his health update with his fans via a video on Instagram. "Do you know when we quarantine ourselves?" he asked. "When our Covid-19 test result comes out positive and mine has," he revealed. "It has made me lose my sense of smell and taste. So I'm quarantining myself in my room," he added.
Gilani had explained how it was a really difficult time for him and his family, and requested his followers for prayers.
