Employees would become entitled to all facilities available to Punjab government’s regular employees

RAWALPINDI:

District Health Authority (DHA) on Wednesday regularised services of some 130 contractual employees who had been hired for dengue surveillance.

A notification in this regard was also issued by the authority on Wednesday. The contractual male and female sanitary workers had protested for regularisation.

Meanwhile, services of all daily-wage workers, hired for anti-dengue duties, would be terminated on November 30 after completion of their contract term ending on November 29, officials said.

The employees would become entitled to all facilities available to Punjab government’s regular employees.
