Environmental Excellence: Lucky Cement receives two awards

KARACHI: Lucky Cement was awarded Annual Environment Excellence Award in acknowledgement of its pro-active environmental initiatives and Brand of the Year 2010 in category of cement, which represents company’s increasing brand popularity, product availability and quality, says a press release. Lucky Cement CEO Syed Noman Hasan received the awards from Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani in a ceremony at the Governor House, Karachi recently. Lucky Cement has been receiving Environment Excellence Award for two consecutive years and is among top 10 companies with environmental excellence in business practices. The award was given by National Forum for Environment and Health which is affiliated with the United Nations Environmental Programme. PRESS RELEASE
