Usman Mukhtar recovers from Covid-19 in 10 days

Actor revealed the good news with loads of gratitude towards his fans

Director and actor Usman Mukhtar, who had tested positive for Covid-19 ten days ago, has now announced that he is free of the virus. 

Taking to his Instagram story on Sunday, the celebrity told his fans, "Guys, Alhamdulillah, by the grace of God and your best wishes, my Covid test came out negative."

He went on to express his gratitude, "I am overwhelmed by your support, the journey itself has been overwhelming."

And Irrespective of his quick recovery, the celebrity asked his followers to stay safe provided that the threat is different for different individuals. 

"Please stay safe and stay healthy. It's important for us to consider this is not just for ourselves but also for people around us. Thank you!" conlcluded the Sabaat star. 

Mukhtar recently made his Cannes debut with Bench, his directorial short film starring Rubya Chaudhry alongside himself. 

Bench was shortlisted for the Cannes International Independent Film Festival in September. And on October 20, the Embassy of Pakistan in Paris tweeted about the screening of Mukhtar's short film. "Pakistani short film Bench by Usman Mukhtar is being screened today at the Cannes International Film Festival taking place in France from October 18-20, 2020," read the tweet, which Mukhtar also shared on his profile.
