ISLAMABAD:
A squad from the Shalimar police has arrested a man for allegedly harassing a woman, a police spokesperson said on Sunday.
The arrest came after a video went viral over the weekend showing a woman being harassed by the manager at a bank branch in Sector F-10.
Taking notice of the video, Inspector General of Islamabad Police (IGP) Aamir Zulfiqar directed to take prompt action and a team arrested the bank official, identified as Usman Gohar.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against him while an investigation is underway.
The team was announced to be given cash prizes and commendation certificates.
