Sindh Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and local government secretary Najam Ahmad Shah assured a World Bank (WB) delegation on Thursday that all projects initiated in collaboration with international organisations were being carried out in full swing.

Najam said on the occasion that the "WB showing unshakeable confidence in the Sindh government is a matter of pride." He said "revolutionary changes," facilitated by external funding, were underway in the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, Karachi Water and Sewerage Board and other institutions.

"The timely completion of every project of public interest is a mission taken up by the Sindh government, and particularly the local government department," he added.

Replying to a question by the delegation, Najam said the constitution of all institutional boards had been completed and strengthening institutions remained the Sindh government's top priority.
