PESHAWAR:

The uniting banner of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has proven to be divisive for some parties in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) with two major political parties jostling over who will host their upcoming rally, scheduled to be held in Peshawar on November 22.

The Awami National Party (ANP) on Wednesday offered to host the next PDM rally.

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUIF), whose leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman currently leads the PDM as its president, has proposed to jointly organise the massive anti-government public gathering as an amicable solution. Previously, the JUI-F had announced that it will host the Peshawar rally.
