Actor Ameer Gilani tests Covid-19 positive

Television actor Ameer Gilani is the latest victim of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Sabaat star announced the news on his Instagram on Tuesday.

"Do you know when we quarantine ourselves?" Gilani asked in a video. "When our Covid-19 test result comes out positive and mine has," he revealed. "It has made me lose my sense of smell and taste. So I'm quarantining myself in my room," he added.

Gilani confessed that it is a really difficult time for him and his family, so he went on to request his fans for prayers.

It is pertinent to mention here that just a week ago, Sabaat's leading actor Usman Mukhtar had also test Covid-19 positive. And just yesterday, model Saheefa Jabbar announced the news of her positive diagnosis.

Nevertheless, Gilani took to Instagram once more today to thanks his followers for showering him with their love and support.

"Guys I am so overwhelmed and blessed to have so many prayers and messages coming in. I want to acknowledge each and everyone of you individually but that would be a little difficult," he wrote on his story. "The posts, the DMs, the comments, wow! Love each and every one of you!" Gilani concluded.
