ISLAMABAD:

The apex civic authority of the federal capital has closed the offices of two housing schemes apart from removing encroachment in different parts of the city over the past week.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Enforcement Directorate said that they removed illegal fruit stalls around the Public Works Department (PWD) while the sealed property offices of Chaudhry Azam on Kahuta Road and another of Ayesha Town Scheme.

Further, a service station in Sector G-8 was also sealed.

The directorate also took action against encroachment outside the gate of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, a vegetable market in Sector I-11, illegally constructed rooms in Miskeen Colony in Sector G-8, and against encroachments outside the Islamabad Zoo on Margalla Road. Later action was taken against encroachments around Quaid-e-Azam University, illegal construction in Sectors E-10 and E-11, and Khanna Pull.
