On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar, the Punjab government has announced to hold Revenue Awami Khidmat Katchari once again across the province from today onwards (November 2) for bringing about a change in the centuries-old style of governance.
The chief minister said on Sunday that revenue related issues of thousands of citizens would be resolved on the spot through these public hearings.
“Concerned officers would be present in the Revenue Awami Khidmat Katchari between 10 am to 3 pm,” he detailed.
The top provincial minister also said that revenue related matters of the people across the province would be dealt under one roof which would assist in the resolution of complaints related to the department at the earliest.
“Services correction in record, issuance of Fard, entry of transfer deed, registry, income certificate, inspection record, issuance of domicile and other matters related to revenue department would be resolved through the Revenue Awami Khidmat Katchari,” Buzdar highlighted while speaking to the media.
Sources said, deputy commissioner, district collector, additional deputy commissioner, assistant commissioner, tehsildar, sub-registrar, lawyer, patwari and staff of the Land Record Center have been asked to make themselves available in these public service courts.
