BA passes resolution condemning PDM rally
The Balochistan Assembly on Monday unanimously passed a resolution rejecting the tone of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leadership and condemning their public procession in Quetta.
The resolution was tabled by the provincial Minister of Finance Zahoor Buledi during the assembly session a day after the opposition leaders staged their third public gathering in the provincial capital of Balochistan.
It stated that the opposition processions in Gujranwala, Karachi and Quetta were aimed to target national security of the country.
“It is extremely difficult and impossible for patriots of the country to bear antagonistic and hostile practices against the solidarity and cohesion of the country,” read the resolution, adding the PDM leadership was attempting to promote anarchy and chaos across the country.
During the session, opposition members raised slogans ‘give respect to the vote’.
