German ambassador to Pakistan is very much impressed with Peshawar’s local delicacy that he could not resist sharing the “greatest experiences” on the popular microblogging site.

On his official Twitter handle, Bernhard Schlagheck wrote: “One of the greatest experiences during my recent visit to #Peshawar was to enjoy Chapli Kebab.”

Terming the dish “so delicious,” the German ambassador said after having it at a local restaurant of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s capital city he could understand the reason for its popularity.

Chapli kebabs are renowned for their rich taste with minced meat, mutton fat, crushed pomegranate seeds, eggs, tomatoes, garlic, onions, coriander, chillies and maize flour.

K-P is known for its Chapli kebabs where it is the favourite dish of the majority of its people and is often served to guests.
