No Covid-19 fatality, 310 new cases

Coronavirus tally stands at 143, 836 in Sindh

KARACHI:

No coronavirus-related deaths were reported in the province overnight, said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday. However, the province saw 310 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of confirmed cases in Sindh to 143,836.

As many as 2,598 people have succumbed to the virus in the province thus far. Shah further stated that 136 more people recovered from the contagious disease overnight, taking the number of recoveries to 136,654.

He added that there are 4,584 known active coronavirus cases in Sindh as of now.Of them, 4,328 are in home isolation, 255 at different hospitals and four quarantined at isolation centres.

The condition of 167 patients was stated to be critical with 31 shifted on ventilators.

Of the 310 new cases, 225 were reported in Karachi alone, according to the CM.
