Court to hear plea against Shehbaz on 27th

The written order states that Shehbaz did not disclose the means of paying the instalments of the flats

Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed has fixed hearing on October 27 for the National Accountability Bureau appeal, seeking inclusion of Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif’s name in the Exit Control List.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Mushir Alam would hear the case on Tuesday. The country’s top accountability watchdog had filed an appeal following the Lahore High Court’s order to remove Shehbaz’s name from the no fly list.

On Wednesday, an accountability court rejected a plea of NAB, seeking the physical remand of Shehbaz in the money laundering case and started proceedings to declare his daughter a fugitive.

The written order states that according to the investigation, Shehbaz did not disclose the means of paying the instalments of the flats and could not even provide business documents.

According to the record, a reference has been filed against Shehbaz over the allegations levelled against him.
