Complaint filed against Kangana Ranaut for attacking the judiciary

The actor had allegedly made a disparaging tweet against the court

Bollywood's queen of controversy Kangana Ranaut is once again at odds with the law. A criminal complaint has been filed against the actor by a Mumbai-based lawyer, reported NDTV. The complaint alleges that Ranaut posted a "malicious" tweet against the judiciary after a local court ordered the registration of an FIR against her.

In the complaint, Ranaut is accused of sedition and causing disharmony between two religious groups through her tweets. "The Bollywood actor had 'no respect for varied communities of India, law of the land and authorised government bodies' and even made fun of the judiciary," it stated.

Already, Ranaut and her sister have been summoned by police for questioning next week after a case was registered against them on the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate's order regarding another incident. The Queen actor subsequently attacked the judiciary on Twitter deeming it as "Papu Sena", as per the complaint.

The matter will be heard in the Andheri court on November 10.
