PML-N leader’s bail extended
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ameer Muqam can move around freely until November 10 after his bail in an asset beyond means case was extended on Wednesday. This was directed by a two-member bench of the Peshawar High Court (PHC), comprising Justice Muhammad Nasir Mehfooz and Justice Arshad Ali, as it heard Muqam’s appeal for bail. Muqam contended that he has fully cooperated with the apex anti-corruption watchdog, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the assets beyond means case. However, he feared that despite his cooperation, he could be arrested at any moment and thus he should be given pre-arrest bail.
