152 police officials transferred

LAHORE:

Lahore police went through a massive reshuffle on Wednesday as at least 152 police officials had been transferred. The officials were transferred to security division, flying squad and SSU. The transferred officials included sub inspectors, ASIs, head constables, constables, moharar and naib moharar. The transferred officials had been serving as ‘kar-e-khas’ confidants of various SHOs. Reportedly, these confidants would usually serve as front men of the senior officers. Being the confidants, they were considered to be very influential for being close to their reporting authority. Lahore CCPO Umer Shoib Sheikh warned of strict action against the SHOs for keeping in future.
