Elderly man shot dead
A 50-year-old man was shot dead over old enmity in Factory Area on Tuesday. The victim was identified as Hanif. Police said the victim had an old enmity with the suspect Shahbaz. They reportedly exchanged some harsh words with each other in Model Colony area. The suspect was so infuriated that he resorted to firing. Resultantly, the victim sustained serious bullet injuries. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead. A police team reached the spot on information and shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy. They also collected forensic evidences from the crime scene and recorded statements of the eyewitnesses. Police were investigating the matter further.
