‘Price control among top priorities’
Punjab Minister for Special Education Chaudhry Muhammad Akhlaq has said the government was taking measures to control the price hike of essentials to provide maximum relief to the people by ensuring the sale of the daily-use commodities on subsidised rates at Sahulat bazaars.
He said this on Tuesday while visiting the newly established Sahulat Bazaar near Jinnah Stadium and checked the price rates, quality of fruits, vegetables and daily-use items.
He said the government had decided to take strict action against hoarders. He said special cleaning arrangements had also been made in Sahulat bazaars.
