Cops arrest ‘bootleggers,’ seize liquor

The police claimed on Monday to have arrested two drug peddlers and seized liquor from their possession in separate operations. On the directives of Tharparkar SSP Hassan Sardar Niazi, the police carried out a raid and arrested Bhugro, seizing 70 litres of liquor from his possession. In a separate operation, law enforcers arrested a suspect, identified as Sarwat Kumar, and confiscated 48 bottles of liquor from his possession. Cases have been registered against both suspects.
