25 edu centres approved for Gwadar

311 schools across the district are playing vital role in disseminating education

QUETTA:

Gwadar Literacy Officer Obaidullah Baloch said Balochistan government has approved 25 new centres for non-formal education and 10 others for adult education in remote areas of the district. “Steps are being taken at the provincial level to increase the literacy rate in Gwadar district while 311 schools across the district are playing vital role in disseminating education with effective implementation of anti-coronavirus measures,” he said while talking to APP. Obaidullah added effective security arrangements were being made in collaboration with district Health Department, Gwadar and Education Department to continue teaching activities. The officer further said that in the light of government orders, standard operating procedures (SOPs) of coronavirus were set up under the supervision of Master Trainer Zakira Baloch for teachers in all adult and non-formal education centres in Gwadar district.
