Murder suspect arrested

Police claimed to have arrested a proclaimed offender over charges of killing a man for refusing his marriage proposal. The arrested suspect was identified as Adnan alias Dani. The suspect had sought the hand of victim Toqeer’s daughter in marriage. However, Toqeer had refused the proposal. Three months back, he shot dead the victim at his doorstep. A case was registered and the suspect had gone into hiding. Police on Friday arrested the suspect. Police said that further investigations were underway.
