Universities educating 68,000 pupils worldwide
Pakistani varsities were providing online education to 68,000 students worldwide amid the coronavirus pandemic. The trend of online education has been on the rise impressively after the closure of campuses in the world during the recent lockdowns in different countries in the wake of Covid-19. Students of different universities not only took classes directly from their universities but they also got enrolled in various courses of global education platforms offering free courses in the recent months. According to a report, universities in Pakistan served more than 68,000 students who had enrolled in over 588,000 courses from different countries in the recent lockdown. The institutions providing online classes to students include University of Education Lahore, Riphah International University and Lahore College of Women University.
