ISLAMABAD:

The Lohi Bher police have arrested a woman who was allegedly involved in looting houses and has recovered stolen jewellery and cash from her, a police spokesperson said. SP Rural Farooq Amjad Butar had constituted a team under the supervision of DSP Rukhsar Medhi along with Lohi Bher station house officer SI Shahid Zaman, ASI Irfan Abbas and others to arrest of those involved in looting houses. The team managed to arrest a woman, identified as Iqra Marium, who was involved in robbing houses. Police also recovered stolen gold ornaments and cash worth Rs9.6 million from her possession. Police expect to make additional recovery from her after questioning and initial investigations have been completed.
