A young woman and her uncle were shot and seriously injured by the former’s husband on Tuesday over domestic issues.
Rescue-1122 said Sonia Bibi, 22, married Rana Imran, a resident of Mohallah Kashmir Nagar, a year ago but their relations got strained so she decided to file for divorce.
Sonia Bibi along with her uncle Zafar Ali, 65 were returning from civil courts after filing the divorce suit against her husband when her husband allegedly opened fire at them near Gala Qazianwala, Hafizabad.
They received critical bullet injuries.
