ISLAMABAD:

The five shelter homes in the federal capital would be transformed into model facilities by end of this month.

This was stated by a spokesperson of the Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) on Monday.

He said the PBM has taken the charge of five shelter homes and vigorously implementing its rehabilitation and remodeling plan in light of the instruction of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The prime minister had recently handed over the administrative control of five 'Panahgahs' of Islamabad to the PBM for providing safe, secure and conducive environment to the daily wage earners by revamping it and brining it at par with one-star hotel.

Currently, shelter homes are operational in five areas of the federal capital including Peshawar Morr, Sabzi Mandi, Tarlai and Bara Kahu.

The spokesperson said an integrated system was being installed in all the shelter homes to provide food, stay and proper hygiene to its dwellers under one umbrella.
