ISLAMABAD:

Traders of the federal capital on Monday urged the apex civic authority of the city to resolve its issues particularly after some departments were repatriated to the authority.

This was stated by Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Sardar Yasir Khan on Monday while speaking to a delegation of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Workers Union which visited the chamber.

Yasir said that issues of the business community in Islamabad were related to the CDA and that the authority should focus on addressing the issues on priority to facilitate the growth of business activities.

He added that due to issues between the CDA and the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) for the distribution of resources, no development work was carried out in any market of Islamabad in recent years.

But with some departments now returning to CDA, he hoped CDA will accelerate its efforts to resolve pending issues.
