Father, brothers held for woman’s murder
Case was registered against unidentified killers
LAHORE:
Father and two brothers turned out to be murderers of a 24-year-old woman whose body was found in a sack in fields in Baghbanpura area six months ago.
Police said the accused had tortured the woman to death before dumping her body in the fields. The police had received information about the body dumped in a sack near Carol Village. Marks of torture were found on her arms, legs, head and neck.
A case was registered against unidentified killers and the police launched investigations.
During the course of investigations, the victim was identified as Javeria, a resident of Muzaffargarh.
Police arrested the father and two brothers of the victim during the investigation.
