Bushra Rind tests positive for Covid
Bushra Rind, the parliamentary leader of Balochistan Awami Party and chairperson of Quetta development authority announced on Sunday that she had tested positive for coronavirus and gone into self-isolation.
The BAP leader was hospitalised at Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital Quetta.
According to the Medical Superintendent of the hospital Dr Noorullah Moosakhel she was admitted in the ICU and was receiving oxygen support but now her condition is getting better and she is recovering.
Various prominent political figures had earlier tested positive for coronavirus including BNP leader Sardar Akhtar Mengal, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Shehbaz Sharif, ANP’s Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Sindh education minister Saeed Ghani, NA Speaker Asad Qaiser, and Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari.
