Four ‘thieves’ caught in city
Police claimed to have arrested as many as four thieves in the city on Saturday. Gujjarpura investigations police booked two suspected thieves identified as Amir and his accomplice Ali Asghar. Police also recovered Rs0.2 million in cash, mobile phones and illegal weapons from their custody. The accused had confessed to committing bids in various parts of the provincial capital. Police said that they were investigating the matter further. Separately, two suspected thieves were arrested by Shalimar Investigations police. The arrested suspects had been identified as Fahad and Zohaib. Police also recovered gold ornaments, cash and six mobile phones from their custody. The suspects were found to be history sheeters. Previously, the accused had been jailed multiple times. They would start committing bids again after being released from jail. Police said that they were investigating the matter further.
