Thieves make off with Rs8m

Robbers looted cash, foreign currency, jewelry and other valuables worth Rs8 million from a house in Defence Housing Authority on Wednesday night. The robbers broke into the house and held the family as hostage. The police later registered a case about the incident on behalf of Asadullah Khan. According to the complainant, five robbers entered the house and locked the family members in a room while they searched the entire place. He added that one of the robbers was wearing a face mask while the others had their faces covered with pieces of cloth.
