Thieves loot two mobile phone shops

The police acquired CCTV footage from nearby cameras at both the crime scenes

A duo of thieves looted different mobile phone and accessories shops on Monday night.

The thieves broke into a mobile phone and accessories shop after cutting its padlocks in Pak Jamhoria Colony near Frere Hall. One of the thieves looted mobile phones, accessories and cash, while the other monitored the surroundings. They started stealing from the shop at 3:59am and completed the activity within four minutes.

The duo then headed towards another mobile phone shop near Kala Pul, in the jurisdiction of Defence Police Station and conducted another robbery in the same manner.

The police acquired CCTV footage from nearby cameras at both the crime scenes. The video footage showed that both the thieves had their faces covered with masks.
