Construction yet to start in G-14

ISLAMABAD:

Construction activities in the long-delayed Sector G-14 have yet to start, although many allotees have received possession letters, officials said on Monday.

The sector was developed for the government employees, however, they were kept waiting for the possession of plots for decades and many allottes either sold their files or went in to graves waiting for a house on their land.

The Ministry of Housing and Works (MoHW) has so far given final possession letters to as many as 54 government employees in Sector G-14/1, 2 and 3. Around eight allottees have applied for issuance of NOC.
