1,497 rescued in September
The Rescue-1122, during the last month, provided emergency service to 1,497 victims of 1,457 incidents in the district.
This was stated in the monthly performance report released by the district office of Rescue 1122 on Sunday. District Emergency Officer Sultan Mahmood, while presiding over a meeting held to review the performance of the organisation, said that Rescue 1122 during its operations provided emergency services, including first aid, to the injured victims on the spot, shifting of injured to hospitals and bodies to hospitals and homes.
Rescue 1122 also provided service to the victims of building collapse and fire incidents in the district during the period.
He further said volunteers of the organisation and took prompt action during 24 fire incidents.
