FIR lodged against murder of former SHO
Saddar police takes victim's wife and son into custody after finding his amputated limbs.
FAISALABAD:
The Faisalabad police registered an FIR on Monday against the murder of former SHO Abdul Razzaq Gujjar, who was shot and then burnt along with his vehicle on Sunday in the Satiana area of Faisalabad.
Gujjar’s wife and sons earlier said that he left the house around the time of Sehri after receiving an anonymous call and never returned.
The Saddar police also lodged a case against three people, including the Gujjar’s wife and a son, who are in police custody and have reportedly confessed to the crime.
According to the FIR, the victim’s wife killed him with the help of her paramour and one of her sons.
The accused allegedly amputated the deceased inspector’s limbs, which were recovered on Monday from his house.
Gujjar’s other son is also under investigation, while his wife’s paramour went into hiding.
