The first debate between US President Donald Trump and his rival, Democratic hopeful Joe Biden is being described as the most chaotic and bitter clashes in White House history. Interrupted repeatedly by Trump, with even the moderator Chris Wallace standing up to the President, Biden had to resort to multiple insults.
The argument as a whole was less about policy and more about personal attacks with Trump dragging Biden's family and Biden calling him "Putin's Puppy". Given the spectacle, 2020 US Presidential Debate became, albeit, for the wrong reasons, netizens on Twitter had interesting things to say about the ordeal.

During the debate, Trump when asked to outrightly condemn white supremacist groups and militias, more specifically the Proud Boys, instead told the group to "stand back and stand by." As such many on Twitter slammed the President, deeming him a racist.
All in all, many criticised the debate for being more about mudslinging rather than real issues and their possible solutions
