At least two people died and one other was injured when a loaded truck fell off a hill while negotiating a sharp turn at Khaira Gali.
Locals said that a truck bearing Quetta registration was carrying soft drinks to stores. While negotiating a sharp turn at Khaira Gali, the driver lost control over the wheels of the vehicle and it plunged onto a road in the valley below.
As a result, the driver sustained critical injures and could not survive. With the truck falling on the road below, it crushed a roadside vendor who was selling shawls. At least one individual survived, sustaining broken legs.
As a result of the incident, Murree Road was completely blocked for two hours.
