LAHORE:

Veteran TV actor Mirza Shahi is reportedly in critical condition. Last week Shahi was diagnosed with coronavirus. Since then his health has deteriorated and he has been shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi where he is currently on a ventilator.

Along with Shai, both his wife and daughter have tested positive for Covid-19. " My father is on a ventilator due to Covid-19 and we need prayers of public,” Shai’s daughter told The Express Tribune.

Shahi’s co-stars from the popular TV serial of the early 2000s, Nadaniyan have urged their fans to pray for the ailing actor. Actor Yasir Nawaz along with his wife and brother Nida Yasir and Danish Nawaz, all of whom starred in Nadaniyan took to Instagram to bring attention to Shahi’s health.
