Three children killed going home from school

Police and locals shifted the bodies and the injured to Haripur Trauma Centre

HARIPUR:

Three children were killed and seven others critically injured when the tractor-trolley they were travelling on plunged into a deep gorge near Makki Masjid Beer Bazar on Monday.

According to local police, the children aged seven to 12 were heading home after first day of school.

The tractor driver had offered a lift to the children and they were all riding joyfully in the trolley. However, when the tractor reached Makki Masjid Beer Bazar driver lost his control and the tractor along with the trolley fell into a deep gorge.

As a result, three students died on the spot and seven others critically injured. The dead students were identified as Misal and Naeem. Police and locals shifted the bodies and the injured to Haripur Trauma Centre.
