Commercial areas need maintenance

The mayor instructed to ameliorate cleanliness in the cemetery

ISLAMABAD:

The commercial areas of the capital are in a dire need of cleanliness and repairs, Islamabad Mayor Sheikh Anser Aziz said during his visit to the different markets of the federal capital along with directors of different directorates of Islamabad Municipal Corporation (IMC). They made rounds of Sector F-8, F-7, G-6, and Melody Food Park and inspected facilities in the areas. He reprimanded the directors over poor cleanliness and dilapidated street lights and directed them to fix the issues. IMC Mayor was also instructed to improve water supply conditions in the related areas. Aziz said that no negligence would be tolerated in providing facilities to the people of Islamabad. Later, the mayor visited the graveyard s well to check if his previously issued orders were implemented. He inquired graveyard management how many lights were fixed after his previous visit. The mayor also instructed to ameliorate cleanliness in the cemetery.
