‘Pakistan rich in culture, art’
With art and culture depicting the real essence of a nation, Pakistan’s rich art and culture show its diversified social and cultural inheritance.
This was stated by the Dean of Diplomatic Corps Turkmenistan Ambassador Atadjan Movlamov at Shakarparian on Thursday while inaugurating an art exhibition involving artists such as Qudsiya Liaquat and others.
The Bexon exhibition had been organised by the Handicrafts Association of Pakistan (HAP) in collaboration with Naqashee Art Gallery at the Aqs Arts and Craft village 2 on Shakarparian Road.
Movlamov appreciated the skills of the artists in how they were able to depict various expressions on canvas while beautifully articulating concepts, ideas and emotions. He termed the exhibition a gift for art lovers and people with an interest in creative abilities.
Liaquat explained that her paintings have a history behind them, which is perhaps why it grabs the attention of people, especially those who have a special interest in arts and crafts.
