ACE raids hospital in Naushero Feroze

An Anti-Corruption Establishment team raided Naushero Feroze Civil Hospital on Thursday and took relevant records into custody.

The raid, led by circle officer Qazi Sharafuddin in the presence of Naushero Feroze second magistrate Haider Ali Bhayo, was carried out on complaints of the misappropriation of funds released for procuring medicines and other purposes.

The complaints were lodged between 2018 and 2020. Following the raid, a mushirnama (memo of handing over possession) was prepared, and further investigation of the matter is underway.

Meanwhile, Sindh Anti-Corruption Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo warned of strict action against corrupt elements.
